Bruce is the most amazing entertainer I have ever met. So much so I booked him for my 3 milestone birthdays. 2002 for my 40th, 2012 for my 50th, then 2022 for my 60th. Bruce is so easy going. He engages with the guests & gets the party started. I love his costume changes that create the mood & works with the theme of your party. He has the whole crowd singing & dancing along with him. My husband and I were lucky enough to have Bruce play at our wedding reception back in 1999. He was amazing! From the minute he started playing we were all up dancing and had so much fun.  He was interacting with everyone, leading a conga line while playing and singing – everyone thought he was brilliant. We'd seen him perform at another wedding and he was perfect for our special night. Fast forward to 2013 and the company I worked for had a conference in Sydney which I was responsible for organising the social evening for our 300 international staff.  There were many different cultures and the challenge of integrating everyone to become one team. This was a job for ‘They Call My Bruce’! I hadn’t seen Bruce since 1999 and was relieved to meet him on the day and see he was just the same -  but with more equipment and set up. I must admit I was still nervous, I was pinning my hopes on Bruce getting everyone to lighten up, have fun, make some memories together. Our employees are 75% male… would they be up for this? Needless to say Bruce went down a storm. He got the dancing going and before long colleagues were singing along with him on stage (including the German Chairman singing ‘99 Red Balloons’!). He did such a wonderful job. The feedback was great, he charmed, entertained and had us dancing until we were exhausted. That is the sort of entertainer he is, someone who gets the party started and keeps it going! I first saw Bruce play at my friends wedding 6yr ago and I fell in love with his act, so when it was my turn to get married I knew I had to have Bruce. When we met with Bruce and told him we planned toget married at our engagement party, he was more then happy to provide the entertainment. Prior to the event Bruce contacted our bag piper to sort out audio as we planned to have the piper play ACDC’s Long way to the top. Bruce played background DJ music for the first 1.5hr of our engagement party and he knew once the bag piper appeared that our engagement party had turned into a wedding and our secret was to be revealed. Once the official part was over Bruce took control, he had us up dancing, dressing up in costumes, laughing and having a great time. Following a recommendation from a friend who had engaged Bruce for two company Christmas functions, I had him entertain about 100 people at my 70th birthday party. I was looking for a party like those of 50 years ago and Bruce didn't disappoint. Before long he had the dance floor full - in some cases I reckon people hadn't danced for decades! Bruce is good at understanding the dynamics of, and possibilities for, any crowd and will play and entertain accordingly. If we had all insisted on sitting around and complain about our health issues, I'm sure he would have somehow made that fun as well!  John

My friends & I were at The Crowne Plaza Beergarden in Terrigal one Sunday afternoon & saw this one man band "They Call Me Bruce" playing. I thought he'd be great for my 21st party so we hired him. He was fantastic & had all my friends & family entertained with his costume changes & fun songs. Thanks Bruce for making my 21st the best night ever. I first saw Bruce many years ago while he was playing at Coogee Bay Hotel. He always drew a massive crowd so it was always a good night. The way he owns the songs he plays and dresses up to them as well made him different and fun. I met my future husband at the same place and converted him and his mates to Bruce fans. We loved Bruce so much we had him play at our Wedding as a surprise to all our guests. The majority of the comments after the wedding was how good Bruce was not how nice the wedding was. I thought I would drop you a line to try and express in words my overwhelming appreciation to you for playing at my wife's surprise 40th birthday party. Ever since the night I saw you perform at "The Ranch" I knew you would be the perfect choice for entertainment. It was a sensational night thanks to you. Everyone was laughing and singing along all night. Our guests are still talking about it and will for some time to come. Your mix of music, comedy, imitations combined with costumes is unsurpassed for keeping people of all age groups and musical tastes entertained.
